What Visitors Say

Dear Mr Keith Southall
Re: Our visit on Thursday 6 August 2015

I apologize for not having written earlier to thank you for making our visit to your garden such an interesting and pleasurable experience. Had we have visited without your guidance I am sure we would not have seen the whole of the garden and would definitely have missed some of the intriguing extras. It was good to hear the reasoning of where, what and how behind the design and planting. Factual information, such as curving the path before a mirror to make the illusion more convincing, East is not necessarily where the sun rises. I have yet to get up early enough to plot the sunrise with blue tack on the window sill.

You have created gardens that awake the imagination. Fairy doors in tree trunks, elf and goblin hideaways, (fuel for the creative minds of granddaughters), the Green Man, the unbelievable portable hornbeam gazebo, streams, waterfalls, caves, labyrinths, beautiful wildflower field and our unforgettable brush with Alice in Wonderland when we stepped through the Moon Gate. All in all an awe-inspiring afternoon, completed with a nice cream tea and a unanimous resolve to make a return visit.

We wish you well with your business and look forward to seeing where your imagination takes you next.

Yours sincerely
Kath James
